Being named wedding “trend setters” by US biggest wedding blog Strictly Weddings was a home run for Agape Wedding and Event Design this year. I am so excited to share one of Agape Weddings’ favourite shoots this year, which was made possible by the most talented team! As you will read on, jewel tones have arrived, and they are here to stay, at least for the upcoming wedding seasons! Strictly Weddings felt we hit the nail on the head for the US fall/winter 2014/2015 wedding trends; and our favourite local publication – Wedding Album Magazine – coined our shoot “Crown Jewels”, which embraces not only winter’s depth and saturation, but also spring’s substance and iridescence. Thank you to Strictly Weddings’ feature “2014 Fall/Winter Foral and Fauna Wedding Inspiration from South Africa“ for naming us “a group of wedding professionals who’s design style pushes the creative envelope” and to Wedding Album Magazine feature “Crown Jewels“ for the fabulous publication! I am humbled and honoured to have worked with the most talented people on this shoot: Heike from Fleur le Cordeur (floral and creative design), Tasha Seccombe from Tasha Seccombe Photography (images), Kate from Something Different Concepts and Shows (lighting and decor installations), Yolande du Toit (hair and make-up), Roxanne Floquet Cake Design (gobsmacking cake!), Secret Diary Creative Concepts and Designs (stationery); Ashanti Estate (venue), Stefania Morland (blush dress), Jacques La Grange Couture (black dress), my sister company Agape Interior Concepts for interior design & styling, and to darling Silke Viljoen our gorgeous model!
